Elizabeth House was built in 1983. It was fully refurbished in 2003. Elizabeth House enables older people to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their capabilities.

Elizabeth House welcomes applications from people from all walks of life and with many different needs.

Elizabeth House can accommodate residents suffering from varying forms of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.

Elizabeth House promotes the key principles of independence, rights, dignity, respect and choice.

Elizabeth House encourages residents to continue any activities important to them by trying to understand their individual needs and preferences.

Elizabeth House has 48 rooms, all with ensuite facilities. All have been fully refurbished to the highest standards.

Elizabeth House has:

- very well maintained grounds
- hairdressing salon with visiting hairdresser
- lounges
- dining room
- specialist bathrooms

Elizabeth House has a very highly experienced and qualified work force. The Association concentrates on keeping staff fully trained and up to date on best practice to ensure the highest possible level of service to residents.

If consideration is being given to applying for accommodation at Elizabeth House we would strongly recommend the Service Users Guide (including the Statement of Purpose) is read, as this will give a fuller picture of life at Elizabeth House. You may also wish to check the current Fees schedule.
